Club History
Our Rotary Club of Badlapur Industrial Area was established in the year 2000. June 30, 2000 is our Charter Day. Ambernath Club took the initiative to form this club. Rakesh Bakshi helped a lot for this.

When our club started there were 25 members and today we have 40 members. In our club Rtn.Nitin Mahajan is a major donor and there are 33 PHFs. Now there are 33% Female members PP Rtn.Dr.Savita Jawadekar was the first lady member of RCBIA. PP Rtn.Dr.Shakuntala Churi was first lady President of RCBIA.
The club has so far undertaken various projects such as blood donation camps every year, tree planting, nutrition in rural schools ,Toilet repairs, installation of fans, provision of drinking water, installation of coolers, career guidance for students, Interview Technic Guidance, . Eco friendly Ganesh Idol workshop is held in our club every year. SMILE year 2021-2022 is 15th year of this project.Our club had started the classes of ITI in Adarsh Vidya Mandir.
Our Club donate e-learning Kits to 10 different schools. Sanitary Pad vending machines also donated to 10 different school. RCBIA started Tailoring Workshop for Adiwasi Women / Girls.
Our club also helped flood affected families. We also inspected the people trapped in Kolhapur Mahalaxmi Express and also handed them food packates .
Our club organize Blood Donation camp, Mammography camp, Cancer Awareness camp, Thalasamia Checkup, Hemoglobine Checkup, Diabetic Checkup for senior citizens, Mangalagaur Event, Family Night, Family Picnic.
RCBIA has partner in service --- 1] RCC i.e. Rotary Community Corps - Badlaput Diabetics Association, started with about 30 members ,conducts free blood sugar checking and bone density checking every month.
2] Rotaract club of Bharat College and Rotaract club of Badlapur Industrial Area are two wings of our club,very enthusisatic youngesters are managing the club very effectivly.
3] Interact club of New English School and Interact club of St.Anthonys Convent English School are other two branches of club. School students numbersing 100 plus are memebrs of Interact clubs.
